Whiskey River Music Festival 2011 with Poor Man's Whiskey

Upon meeting Outside Placerville California at the famous Nugget Campground, 6045 rafters lane Placerville Ca 95651, be dressed and ready for the river (see map, and packing list, meeting time upon reservation). We will be rafting along with Wilderness Adventures and the Crew of Poor Man’s Whiskey! A short Drive to Chili Bar and the trip begins. Chili Bar is located 10 miles up-stream in the heart of the Gold Country. When we arrive, you will receive a life vest and a safety talk. The whitewater begins with a bang! Plan ahead and receive the best price! Each raft takes 6 people and a guide and groups of 6 will receive a 10% discount off the total. During the day, we will stop and eat a hearty lunch. When the rafting trip reaches the 10th mile we will end @ Gold Rush Campground where we will get in the van and drive back to the music. While your raft guides prepare your delicious dinner, you will have plenty of time to set up your campsite, relax in a hammock, swim, fish or nap. After Dinner, kick your shoes off and enjoy dancing to New World Ape and Poor Man’s Whiskey! The campfire will be lit, and the kegs will be flowing. Last year, Poor Man’s Whiskey finished off the night with an acoustic set by the fire. All the while, the river will be flowing by, and the stars will be shinning. Day 2- In the morning, there is plenty of time to chill. The river water is dam released and the flow will not arrive until about 10:00am. Wilderness Adventures will serve coffee and a hot yummy breakfast. Take time after breakfast to pack up your camp. Rafting day 2 begins from Gold Rush Campground. You will have a blast floating the Lower Gorge of the South Fork American River. This exhilarating day will refresh your spirit! Enjoy running fun-splashy rapids all day long. At the end of the trip, a vehicle will meet us at the bottom and bus you back to your car. 1 Day guests will pack up camp and check out by 10:00am Sunday Morning.
