Upper Sacramento

Known as Northern California's "Blue Ribbon" trout stream this stretch of river produces some of the best Rainbow and Brown trout fishing in the state. The fly fishing is outstanding. We float several stretches between Box Canyon Dam and Lake Shasta. Using self-bailing whitewater boats rigged for fishing our local fishing guides can get you to the hottest spots on the river. Located only minutes from Redding, this river allows great one day floats, though we recommend staying for at least two days to bring it all in. This river is catch and release only.
