THE TRINITY RIVER
Among the
handful of beautiful tributaries flowing into the Klamath River the Trinity
River is the largest. Collective waters from the magnificent Trinity Alps
and a reliable release out of Lewiston Lake provide a summer-long flow
of remarkably clean, clear water. The Wild and Scenic Trinity River offers a wide range of class III - class V whitewater rafting.

Trinity River Rafting - Burnt Ranch Gorge
California's best summertime Class 5. This stretch of the Trinity cuts through an enticing,
formidable, sheer walled gorge called Burnt Ranch. Blocked by a maze of
boulders, there are countless falls, holes, and choked chutes to negotiate.
Participants must be experienced, physically fit, and ready for a powerful
whitewater trip.
South Fork Trinity River Rafting - Big Slide
This exotic river offers remote locale rivaling any on the globe as one
of the most isolated river canyons in the state. Rafting the South Trinity
is a true wilderness expedition through a beautiful, rugged, wild canyon
with world class whitewater. Only seen by a handful, this is a journey
of a lifetime. We also offer trips on the lower "Three Bears" run.
TRINITY RIVER RAFTING TRIPS
One Day Trinity River Rafting Trip - Pigeon Point
We will meet, prepare for our river voyage, and take a short ride
to the put-in. Lifejackets will be fitted and a river safety and equipment
lesson will be given. After this orientation we will board the rafts and
head down river. We will meander past some side creeks and soak up some
of the scenery as we prepare for some splashy fun in rapids such as The
Slot and Double Eagle. Between rapids we will pull over and an elaborate
lunch will be prepared along the river while you relax. Continuing on,
Hell's Hole, Triple Drop, and Fish Tail provide more afternoon excitement
before we wind down our day. We take-out at our meeting area where cold
refreshments and your vehicles await.
Two Day Trinity River Rafting Trip - Pigeon Point
We will meet a little later and take our time. After enjoying
some morning rapids, elaborate lunch, and beautiful sandy beaches, we
will take time for some water play and a side hike or two. Continuing
downstream, we will arrive at a gorgeous campsite on a large sandy beach.
In camp the guides will set up kitchen and begin preparing a decadent
meal. While in camp you can choose your sleeping site, fish, swim, play
or just relax. The evening meal will be followed by dessert, campfire
entertainment, and a peaceful night's sleep under the stars. In the morning
the wonderful smell of coffee and breakfast will greet your senses. We
will re-pack our gear and get ready for another exciting day on the river.
This day includes the best of the whitewater with time to frolic in the
sunshine. We will feast on another hearty lunch at a riverside sandy beach
and continue down the final stretch of the river. When we reach the take-out
ice cold drinks will be waiting and you will be back to your vehicles
by mid-afternoon .
